Hello and welcome to Mr Q's Year 11 English blog!

This year will be quite different from last year. Last year we spent most of our time working on controlled assessment, which had to be completed in school. This year we will be focussing on the exams, which will involve learning how to write various different text types, such as letters, speeches, articles, etc. and reading comprehension. This means that most of the homework will involve practicing the things we have been learning about in lessons. 

I will post various bits and bobs on here throughout the year, including details of homework tasks, information about the exams and copies of the worksheets that have been used in lessons, so if you want to know what's what, this is the place to check!
